Bailli Delegue Honoraire, Bailliage de Malaisie

Dato Lau Foo Sun is the founder Bailli Delegue of the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, Bailliage de Malaisie since its inception in 1977. He was responsible for inaugurating the Regional Bailliage in Kuala Lumpur, Kuching, Melaka, Penang and Johor Bahru and the Bailliage National de Brunei.

In 1988, Dato Lau was elected to the Conseil Magistral, Paris and Chevalier - Le Confrérie du Franc-Pineau in 1991.

Dato Lau is a Consulting Engineer (Civil & Structural & Nuclear Science) by profession. In 1957 he established a firm of Consulting Engineers, under the name of Messrs Lau & Partners, now known as Messrs L P Consultants Sdn. Bhd.

In 1971, Dato Lau was conferred Dato Lela Jasa and Setia Mahkota Selangor by DYMM The Sultan of Selangor.

Dato Lau has a keen interest in languages, cooking, swimming, golf, badminton, tennis, scuba-diving and writing books on wines. Author of Radioactivity & Nuclear Waste Disposal; A Dictionary of Nuclear Power & Waste Management; Wine Appreciation; Comprehensive Professional Wine Reference.
